What's new in PTRG — Jira ticketing, remediation reports, and a faster way to ship pentest deliverables (27 May 2026)

We've been heads-down shipping changes to PTRG (Penetration Test Report Generator) over the last few weeks, and a few of them are worth calling out because they directly address what most consultancies tell us they hate about their current reporting tooling — too much manual work between "finding identified" and "client invoice paid."

Here's what's new (check all these changes out at ptrg.dnsystemsllc.com).

Push findings to Jira in one click.

PTRG now talks to Jira Cloud natively. Configure your Jira credentials once at the team level, then push any finding straight to your client's backlog as a real issue — with the description, recommendation, CVE references, and severity already populated. The issue key gets stamped back onto the PTRG finding so the round-trip is fully traceable. Engage, Squadron, and Command tiers get this bundled at no extra cost (saves you $300/mo over the legacy add-on).

Client Remediation Performance reports.

Every engagement page now shows a new "Remediation Performance" widget — 30-day, 60-day, and 90-day closure buckets for findings pushed to Jira, plus average days-to-remediation per severity. The same data auto-appears in the final PDF bundle as a client-facing section. It's the metric clients ask for at the post-engagement review, and you no longer have to compile it manually from CSV exports.

Multi-format report bundle, every tier.
